Chaos

Final Artwork

Artist Statement

This photo is for the word Chaos and is meant to represent Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). This is a disorder where people have extreme difficulty concentrating and they also have an insurmountable amount of energy that they don't really know what to do with. People with ADHD live in a practically constant state of chaos between the energy and the lack of focus and it makes life very hard for some people. This photo is meant to capture that idea of chaos within a person's own body when they suffer from ADHD.

This person is the person suffering from ADHD. All of their own heads surrounding them making different faces are meant to be symbolic of the different thoughts and ideas that are attempting to capture their own attention. The person them self has gone cross eyed in an attempt to keep track of and pay attention to everything that is happening in their head. The heads have a slightly lower opacity in order to show that they aren't meant to be real, but simply symbolic of inner thoughts and ideas.
